Alexandros Soumplis

Cave Diver

Alexandros Soumplis is a certified technical and cave diver with many years of diving experience in Greece. While he is not working professionally in the diving community, his love for the sea and the underwater environment drove his passion for feeling cave diving’s unique experience. He is a strong advocate of DIR principles and addicted to safety and continuous training. While every single dive has its own unique characteristics, challenges and value, he notes his participation in the first “Project Leros” of Inner Space Explorers in 2013 as a member of an international group of ISE divers and the Amphitrite 2017 project, with Top2Bottom diving team. When not underwater, he loves all kinds of outdoor activities and especially sailing and canyoning.

The only prerequisite is good company and always a cold beer afterward.
