A Celebration of Sport & Cinema

Born in 2010, the BCN Sports Film Festival in Barcelona is integral to a prestigious annual festival cycle. This esteemed event is organized by the Federation of International Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS), an organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Under the banner of “Culture through Sport,” FICTS champions and disseminates the culture of sports and the significance of Olympic values through the powerful mediums of cinema and television.

On February 21st and 22nd, 2025, our team had the privilege of attending and participating in the 15th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival. Our film, “4Caves – 4Seasons: Journey into the Veins of the Earth,” was honored as a finalist in this exceptional competition.

During these remarkable days, we forged connections with extraordinary individuals from across the globe. We proudly showcased the beauty of our nation to an international audience and introduced the captivating sport of cave diving to a wider public. The warmth and enthusiasm of the festival attendees were palpable, and the glowing reviews from the esteemed jury members deeply gratified us. Moreover, we cultivated bonds and relationships that we are confident will endure for years to come.

The festival culminated in a truly unforgettable awards ceremony held at the Barcelona Olympic and Sports Museum. The evening was a testament to the power of sport and cinema to unite and inspire.
