Matteo Ratto is an IT developer for the credit and public administration sector.
He began diving in 2003 and started technical diving some years after. Since 2005, he dives in caves and since 2006, he dives with rebreathers in SCR & CCR mode.
In 2011-12 he worked on a project to complete the traverse in the Oliero cave system in Italy for about 5km length of overhead environment and he has worked to improve awareness in deep diving on wrecks, caves, and mines. He collected many cave dives in Europe and the last years are dedicated to teaching Hogarthian and team diving, cave, and trimix classes. Main interests are the study of decompression strategies and new experiences diving.
