Magda Georgiadou

Journalist, Script Editor

In her 20-year-long career in journalism, Magda has worked as a researcher, editor-in-chief, and script editor in investigative documentary series, news production, and daily TV news magazines for Greek TV channels (Ant1, ERT, Cosmote History).

During the decade of the Greek economic crisis, Magda collaborated with major European TV networks (ARD, ORF, ARTE) as a news producer and editor-in-chief in documentaries, feature videos, and news production.

She was assistant researcher in Tassos Telloglou’s book “Athens: The city of the Games” (2004); she has taught “Research methods” at the Department of Journalism of the AKMI Institute (2005), and occasionally writes on analog and electronic magazines (STATUS, LIFO, ANDRO.GR, BOVARY).

Magda was assistant director on the Greek-German production of the documentary “Emery Tales” (2015) and script editor for the award-winning “Y1 – Silence of the Deep” (2019).

In the past years, Magda has been working as an editor-in-chief in various documentary series on Greek TV and is a Communications Consultant for the Municipality of Kaisariani.

Magda holds 3 University degrees in History (BA), European Culture (BA) and European Integration (MA).
